Caesars Superdome, Crescent City Connection to light up for Moreno’s inauguration

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — To mark Mayor-elect Helena Moreno’s inauguration weekend, two of the Crescent City’s iconic landmarks will be lit up to celebrate.

Caesars Superdome and the Crescent City Connection Bridge will display “All In” blue and gold lights as part of the festivities to welcome Moreno and the new City Council.

Starting on Sunday, Jan. 11, the inauguration weekend will include service opportunities, public events and ways to for residents to get involved.

The following inauguration events are as follows:

Sunday, Jan. 11

All In for Our Culture – Free Festival

  • Located at Lafayette Square | Starts 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

  • Free event for the public and will have New Orleans musicians, food trucks and family-friendly activities

Inauguration Mass – Livestreamed

New Orleans City Council overrides Mayor Cantrell’s final veto

Monday, Jan. 12

Official Inauguration Ceremony – Livestreamed

Monday, Jan. 19 – Martin Luther King Jr. Day

All In for Our Community – Citywide Day of Service
